Coconut Oil.

Per some requests I am going to take 2 minutes of your time and convince you to fall in love with coconut oil.

I use it to:

Shave- I rub it on my legs in the shower and shave. Heaven. No razor burn EVER.

Moisturizer- Once I am dry post shower I slather it all over. It dries surprisingly fast and I feel moisturized.

Once a week face wash- I slather it all over my face ( with my make up still on) then let it sit for a minute or so. Then I use my Clarisonic ( you could use a washcloth) and wipe it all off with warm water. That's it! Glowing I tell ya.

Face Lotion- I use it every night on my face and lips. No breaking out! ( I also use a honey mask once a week, it's just honey. I like the pure honey from trader joes. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and wash cloth it off, bye bye blackheads!)

Stretch Marks- I ( sadly) got a few stretch marks on my thighs and a few on my sides AFTER E was born. Yep, after. Um what?! Anyway, since I have started using c oil, they have faded CRAZY fast. It's amazing.

So there you go. My uses.

Tell me how you use it!

  1. LOVE me some Coconut Oil!!! I use it every night on my face and as makeup remover. Tried it shaving but it got stuck in my razor...so maybe I'm doing something wrong that you need to teach me about. But I definitely use it AFTER I shave, it's the best moisturizer without the razor burn.
I originally got it for my knee scar though and it's definitely helped smooth that out. I've been using it consistently on my burn on my thumb for the past couple of nights (generous amount then a bandaid over it) and I can totally see a difference...fast healing, minimal scarring!
Can't wait to try your honey mask trick!!
