When we lived in Costa Mesa I would load Ethan up in the stroller and march my little un-caffeinated self over to the Starbucks- literally- behind our house every morning and get an iced coffee. It took me less time to do that than to make one at home and it was way more delicious.
I developed an addiction. An expensive, delicious addiction. My barista, Amanda, knew what kind of night I had had by what size my drink was. Tall- good night. Not much caffeine needed. Grande- Not quite enough sleep but doing good. Venti- don't even ask.
But I knew there had got to be a way to make this at home and save some money.
After a few experiments I think I finally found the perfect recipe.

I use Starbucks iced coffee beans which I buy on amazon and I make it one half of a batch at a time. It lasts me two weeks --easy.
So if you're looking for an at home recipe give this a go! I think it's better than Starbucks.
Did I just say that?
Sorry Amanda.
