"It's actually pretty here!"

My sweet Minneapolis friend Colleen visited us about a week ago. 

She was such a fun roommate! 

She also had not been to California since she was about 12 and even then -was in San Diego, 

so Orange County was totally new! 

We hit up starbucks.. a couple of times. 

 Naturally we also hit In N Out..  

I had to scold Colleen because she ordered a plain hamburger.

This is NOT In N Out as it is intended to be eaten. 

So she walked back up to the counter and ordered some spread.

We walked all over The Montage showing off "our" gorgeous beaches.. 

I wasn't sure what she was expecting to see but at one point she turned to me and said...

"California is actually really pretty, it's a lot more than cactus'..."

I was so confused. Did she think we lived in an actual desert? 

Colleen.. we loved having you visit!
