So it's supposed to be Spring.
Right.
It's 29 degrees out and slightly snowing.
I feel like I have had to get really creative to keep my outdoors loving son entertained all day ( and me too!)
Sure we go to the mall. Ethan loves the mall. They have an awesome play place and two Starbucks. Holla. But it's also temptation central. Even if I don't need anything I end up spending money.
We love the community indoor pool but it's a lot of work. Like clear out our whole morning - work. Bring him in his pj's and put him back in them when we leave because its immediately nap-time- work.
So I made a list. Because its what I do. I make lists.
It's a list of stuff for us to do when it's too chilly bones to go outdoors.
• Paint some pots for our future gardening. I found the idea on Small Fry Blog. ( go check it out now... I am obsessed with this blog) www.smallfryblog.com
• Bake something together.
•Color
•Make Castles out of playdoh and smash them.
• Have a picnic in the living room
•Paint with shaving cream in the bathtub
•Color on the chalk wall
•Bring our iPad to Starbucks and watch a show and drink some fun drinks
• Sports in the basement
•Build Forts
•Have friends over
•Finger Paint on a huge sheet of paper in the garage.
And my personal favorite. Target. Although that's the most expensive by far.
